Farewell Smith Rock
A few weekends ago, climbing season began again for old Samantha. Gregg, and I - along with our friends Aaron and Jill, Brad and Kaiti, Matt and Allison and a few others, took the 6 hour drive south (in separate cars), and slightly east To Terrebonne, a little burb of Bend OR.
The 70 - 80 sunlight was well received, although we didn't do too much climbing. Laziness, preoccupation, who knows..
Gregg decided he hates Smith - and that this might be our final journey there.
It was the first places I ever climbed outdoors, so it holds a special place in my heart, though I am quite alright with not climbing there again, as it is about to be a much longer road trip for me........
