Let it snow!

Well folks, November 2006 is the wettest month in in Seattle in over 100 years of recorded history. The past three days it has snowed here! That doesnt really ever happen. And when it does - oh boy is it funny!!! People aren't used to driving, so lots of things shut down - and people slide down the snowy roads on cardboard boxes for fun, and build little snowmen all over.

Gregg ran out of the house around 11 pm and built us our very own snowman, Snowy. He was really super duper until his head melted off around midnight. His torso and bottom were just snowy lumps on a green lawn by morning. Oh dear snowy....

Up to Mt. Baker to go skiing this weekend! A cabin full of engineers, and me.

Pics - Smith Rock

Hello fine people. I write to you amidst a crazy monsoon in Seattle. I heard today that it has rained more ALREADY this November than any other November here on record. I didn't cross ref. this factoid - but kablooey!!! Them's a lot of raindrops!

Two weekends ago me and the ol' gang took a 6 hour drive south down to Smith Rock for potentially the last outdoor climb for the season (at least for awhile)...It was a great opportunity to try out sleeping in our new Blazer!!! It was a champ!!!!

The trip was a nice little excursion, allowed me to spend some time with friends I haven't seen in awhile - and spend some serious time on my new sodoku fetish.

I hope everyone is doing well - I am - though I have been spontaneously stressed this last week. Come visit one and all! If no one has plans for Thanksgiving, Gregg and I will be home in Seattle, all are welcome to join us for a feast (I might add that we haven't even planned where this feast will be)...

Email me! Call me!!! My brother is in Argentina and I need replacement friends!

The people in the pictures below (which mostly weren't taken by me) are Gregg, Brad, Aaron and Jill.

P.S. I went bowling yesterday, but didn't have socks on me, as it was an impromptu midnight bowl sesh - so I got some out of a vending machine at the alley - they have pins and a bowling ball embroidered on them - does it get any cooler!!!?
